DEFENCE-S Ltd provides a full range of security services: object guarding (offices, retail, warehouses, industrial facilities), event security (concerts, sports events, corporate functions), personal protection / VIP escort and construction site security. We develop a tailored security plan for every client.

Yes. We provide 24/7 security 365 days a year, including weekends and public holidays. Our shifts are structured to ensure continuous presence and an immediate response in any situation.

We are based in Sofia and serve clients nationwide. For sites outside Sofia please contact us in advance — our guarding teams can also cover sites outside the capital with prior arrangement.

Yes. The company holds Licence No. 730 / 28.12.2005 issued by the Ministry of Interior (МВР) of the Republic of Bulgaria, authorising it to carry out private security activities under the Private Security Activity Act (ЗЧОД). All our operations are fully compliant with current legislation.

Yes. Every guard employed by DEFENCE-S Ltd holds a security activity certificate issued by the Ministry of Interior (МВР) and works under an employment contract concluded and registered in accordance with the Bulgarian Labour Code (КТ). All appointments fully comply with the Private Security Activity Act (ЗЧОД) and applicable labour and social-security legislation in the Republic of Bulgaria. Copies of the relevant documents are available upon request.

The minimum contract duration for security services is 1 (one) year, in line with the requirements of the Private Security Activity Act (ЗЧОД). For one-off events (concerts, exhibitions, corporate functions) a separate contract is drawn up for the specific date. Terms are agreed individually.

A standard contract includes: a site security plan, description of guards' duties and rights, work schedule (rotas and shifts), emergency contacts, responsibilities of both parties, and confidentiality clauses. On signing we also provide a full guard briefing protocol.

In the event of an incident the guard is required to immediately notify the relevant authorities (police, emergency services) and the security supervisor. An incident report is completed and provided to the client. Every guard is trained to respond to crisis situations in accordance with the approved site security plan.

Yes. DEFENCE-S Ltd processes personal data (of clients, employees, and visitors to guarded premises) in full compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act. We maintain an internal data protection policy and obtain explicit consent where required.

Each shift ends with a shift handover protocol recording: the current state of the site, any registered incidents or anomalies, alarm system readings, and specific notes. Protocols are retained and available to the client upon request.
